I ported all of my old stages to Smash Ultimate, some from as far back as Brawl.
I love stage editors, and I've spend quite a bit of time in various iterations of the Smash Brothers editor. One of my favorite party games for Brawl was each player taking a turn adding something to a stage, and then we would fight on the resulting monstrosity. Here is a collection of my best stages, ported to Ultimate for your enjoyment.
This stage is one of the ones from Brawl. I love the idea of a giant bowl with things rolling around in it. Ultimate finally let me really bring that idea to life.
Surprisingly simple, surprisingly fun.
This stage is designed for maximum opportunities to tech when you get sent flying. Funnily enough, this stage can cause behaviors I would call bugs, which have remained unchanged from Smash WiiU. A testament to how deliberate the Smash Brothers engines are.
Named after the planet from Star Wars, Ultimate allowed me to take this lava-themed stage to the next level.
Another stage dating back to Brawl, this one is a ton of fun with 4+ players. Tons of grab-able ledges mean almost to much flexibility. Items recommended.
What little ground there is constantly shifts around. Definitely one for characters with good aerials.
